What is capping?

• Capping occurs when an unqualified company with inferior materials, place plastic on top of the wood causing damage to the wood. This technique is purely cosmetic. It only hides the true problem and does not resolve it.

What is Pinking (discolourisation)?

• Pinking (discolourisation) occurs when cheap PVCUe is used that discolours over a short period of time, turning pink or turning yellow.

What are “Rogue Traders”?

• Providing installation when unqualified and in the long run causing problems with both installation and materials.

What are Conglomerate Companies?

• Conglomerate companies are companies who install windows, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms and now all of a sudden they cover the installation of roofline.
